Inspired by Monet the giant French impressionist painter father of The Impressionist current in painting art. Monet has created a painting entitled "sunset - impression" that has inspired the name of one of the most important and revolutionary trends in painting (Impressionism) during the last decades of the 19th century. Color and blurring were between the dominant characteristics of this movement.
Amazing! Gotta love rainy days
on your part. Well done!
A silly detail came to mind when you mentioned Monet. During my art history classes, loooooong time ago I have to admit, we were always taught that Claude Monet actually made several paintings during a day or during several days to catch the light in different times as well. My art history teacher always used to tell that and for some reason that always poppes up when I think of Monet.
I do like the fuzzy detail the camera caught of a rainy day in this picture. Almost makes you want to pick up your umbrella and walk down the road to head home.
For sure that retrospectively one might reach the conclusion that he used various opportunities of light - such as its variation during the day ...
