Strong image (the strong lines and clear composition grabs your attention) with a sombre, introspective mood. One thing I think that could be improved is to remove the background buildings on the right side since they contrast with the solemn atmosphere and create an imbalance. (Perhaps this could have been done by walking to the right?) Also, the bottom of the staircase is slightly tilted (something that can be fixed in Photoshop)
